HELPING MERCHANTS

For Chinese New Year, the Rose Pak Community Fund partnered with Chinatown YMCA and the Chinatown SRO community to establish a 'Shop Chinatown' initiative.  This innovative program gave low-income families and seniors store credit at various Chinatown businesses that have been impacted due to ongoing construction of the Central Subway project.

INVESTING IN YOUTH

As part of an ongoing effort to educate the leaders of tomorrow, the Rose Pak Community Fund awarded funding to the Community Youth Center to support their college-preparedness program that assists college-bound youth in their education and development as young leaders.

PUTTING HEALTH FIRST

Community health is always a top priority.  That's why we were proud to grant to NICOS Chinese Health Coalition, a longtime institution that is comprised of over 30 different healthcare organizations that serve the API community.  The funds will be used to combat gambling addiction, among other health issues.

PRESERVING OUR HISTORY

Preserving the histories of our community for generations to come is critical.  Thus we were especially proud to fund a membership drive project at the Chinese Historical Society of America to help connect a wider audience to learn about the history of Chinese Americans and pass on the knowledge for generations to come.
