What types of projects does RPCF fund?

We are always looking to support new, innovative ideas and programs that promote social good and help the lives of Asian Americans living in the Bay Area. Embedded in all that we do is a commitment to lifting people up by engaging communities to solve their own problems.

Typically, our grants are allocated to programs that offer direct services (e.g., supplies, provider-client programs), events (e.g., fundraisers, conferences, workshops), and general operating grants.

Unfortunately, we typically do not fund endowments or provide grants for individuals. Our grants are dispersed on a one-time basis. We do not offer perennial grants.
Where does RPCF fund?

RPCF provides grant support for organizations/institutions serving the San Francisco Bay Area.

Should I apply?

Before you apply, we encourage you to review the information outlined on our website to see if your project aligns with our funding strategies.

To be eligible for grant support, your organization or institution, as well as the purpose of the proposed project, must qualify under regulations of the United States Internal Revenue Service. As a result, we are not able to provide funding directly to individuals.

What should I expect?

As you might imagine, we receive more requests than we are able to fund. Unfortunately, this means we are unable to provide funding for many of the applications we receive.
Our online application offers the opportunity to provide detailed information about your idea for funding consideration. We ask questions designed to help us better understand your project goals and objectives, as well as its alignment to our own principles and values.
To apply, please provide the complete information on the application that appears below. Additionally, you will be asked to complete a budget form detailing the proposed use of the financial resources you are requesting.

Once you submit your application, we will contact you to confirm receipt of your materials. Please keep in mind that applications are reviewed on a quarterly basis, so it may take up to 12 weeks before a determination can be reached regarding your application.
